Grocery Gift Card FAQ

This year, the PHG program will no longer provide holiday meal bags with canned goods, instead, a $35.00 grocery gift card will be provided giving families the freedom to craft a healthy holiday meal.

Why is the PHG program no longer accepting holiday meal bags?
In an effort to reduce processed and packaged foods and provide culturally sensitive nutrition options for families, the PHG program will no longer provide holiday meal bags with canned goods. Where can I purchase a grocery gift card?
You may purchase a grocery gift card from your local grocery store. Examples include King Soopers, Safeway, Walmart, Target, etc. Note, prepaid cards are not permitted.

When and where do I drop off the grocery gift card?
